22" wheels: any adults use them?

I'm trying to find some used 22" wheels to experiment with on mt wheelchair--any of you full sized adults ever try them?

I had one chair with 20 inch wheels - hated them. All the others have been 24 inch. I can see the benefit of 26. 22 would give me the extra inch of seat dump I want but then I am not sure how much pushing power I would loose.

    Bookjunky--thanks.

Trying to get seat dump and lower myself closer to the floor is exactly why I want to try the 22" wheels...

    490--thanks.

One reason I want smaller wheels is I like to be low to the ground so I can easily bend over and touch the floor while at the same time have a 3 inch dump.

Right now I have 25" wheels and I've got the chair low in front and rear, so the problem is my tires are so high on each side it is hard to get in and out plu my clothes guards don't protect my clothes because they are so low...

I've got 22" wheels on my chair - but I'm thinking of switching them out to a larger size rim since that seems to be easier to use on a every day basis from others on the forum. Let me know if you're interested I might be willing to sell them.

I run 26"s. No problem with floor reach. Lots of practice though..
