    Arrived safe and sound

It was longer than the 4 hrs 10 min projected by my GPS and my previous experiences of driving here .... ALONE! With a 5 year old bladder in the back seat, we had a few more stops than usual. We are at the JW Marriott on Pennsylvania Ave - mere blocks from my least favorite politician who lives in a great big white house.

Good luck you guys - give 'em hell.
Roses are red. Tacos are enjoyable. Don't blame immigrants, because you're unemployable.

Arrived yesterday at 5 pm. Met Susan Maus and family, Bob Mulcahy (rvm), Chris Chappelle, Steven Edwards, Carl, (clc), and later we went to dinner at a steak/sushi habachi bar joint about two blocks away. We were joined by Matt Blan, Bruce and Kate Hanson, my wife and, of course, Buckwheat. I think 14 of us including Chrissy, Steven's nurse, and Sue's Mom and Dad.

Had to give Carl a little push back. They don't have hills in Oklahoma. Everyone is fine and busy. The organizers including my wife, Beth, and Susan are already at the Reagan bldg. prepping it for an 8:30 start. The rest of our gang is meeting in the lobby to take the metro together.

    The weather is great!
