Thread: Unable to go to DC due to pain

Unable to go to DC due to pain

The pain is coming from wrenching my body over in bed.

By pulling myself up and over (never had a problem before)
something is being pulled inside. I had bladder augmentation
and an orechectomy (sp) but never had this type of pain
and spasms after getting over in bed. Could this be scar tissue
    pulling on nerves?

At wits end. I wont be able to attend DC because of this pain.
My life really went in the shitter Jan 3, 2006.

I have been in and out of work like crazy.

    Pray for me.

Joe, sorry to hear about the pain and added complications.

Hang in there, take care of yourself.

You will be missed in D.C. but not forgotten. I'll try and remember to recognize and acknowledge you and a few others who aren't able to make it.

    Speedy recovery, Chris.

    Joe,
Sounds like you are re-injuring something that never was given the time to heal. Now how do you give it time and still have a life? That is a tough one to answer. Is there some way you can get in and out of bed in a different way?

Can you pin the start of the pain down exactly when it is strarting? I know dumb question...but that might help in distinguishing at least the part of the body that is compromised..close anyways usually.

    Will pray for ya.

Sorry to hear it man. Can you describe the pain? What do you mean by pulling yourself up & over?

I think something is being wrenched inside
when I transfer over in bed and pull the dead
    part of my body up.

It's causing night sweats in my groin
    and rigid spasticity.

I will try to transfer more across
    than up.

The only thing I can think
    of is exploratory surgery.

    Would anyone advise that?

Don't look into surgery yet. Two thoughts:

    1) If one of your vertebrae is really twisted/rotated out of position, resetting it may help. It might not hurt to make a few calls to chiropractors in your area. Avoid crazy new-agey ones that specialize in "network" adjustments. Find one that knows the nervous system & can explain things to you based on symptoms.

    2) Is this a long term thing going on? Maybe you need to take a good dump. Constipation of sorts can cause muscle tightness & some of the sweats.

    I think just in case,
I will lay off the soy milk.

I have a BP every day.

    Thanks Scott.

    Ah Joe~
Now I don't get to get both you and I lost between DC and Crystal City?
I am not big on exploratory surgery. Have the docs rulled out infection, etc?
Do you have a hospital bed that lowers enough?
    Get well soon Joe.
Every day I wake up is a good one
