Thread: What caused your SCI?

Ran off the road in some pea gravel. Hit a mile marker sign, it made the car flip head over tail several times ending up in a ditch upside down. They made me pay for the sign. If that sign wasnt where it was It wouldnt have been a big deal. I have since moved from that stretch of highway and never go by it. I had to drive by the place going somewhere for work the other day and i was surprised how it made me feel. Numb and no feelings actually just kinda looked at the "new sign" and chuckled a little.

So glad you got rid of that avatar!

What was she doing driving around in an 83 year old car? It should have been cherried, garaged and brought out only for shows.

Finishing up pilots lessons - 30 knot gusts, missed a landing, full throttle up to 800 ft, when the engine decided that it had enough. Airport was surrounded by trees and city. Don't remember the impact, but we had both the wings ripped off by trees and stopped 60 ft short of a busy highway.

I keep thinking about WTF happened that we couldn't set the plane down on the runway or at least the grassy strip next to it, but when I try to remember I start getting really anxious and it ruins my day, so I try not to think about it anymore.

We both lived, and that will be good enough for me.

Don't climb around on a roof THAT YOU DID NOT BUILD.

Broke my back when the roof of a 16 foot tall garage, collapsed.
I hit a brace on the way down which broke my back, and smacked
the concrete on my left side which broke several ribs.
