Are there any children or teens with SCI in TN?

My son is 9 years old. He had TM on 11/18/2005. He is a T-10 complete. We are interested in finding anyone in the area with SCI. We are in Knoxville. We returned from KKI last week. Good experience. He really misses the comraderie of the folks in the spinal cord gym. Really great folks there.

    Thank you for your help.

Are you a ways from Louisville? Susie harkama has a program similar to KKI with the supported ambulation. Good program, good folks. I know that she has a 3 yr old as well as a teen in the program.

HI I am close to Nashville T 12 complete. I am 31 not a child or teen, but thought I'd say hello. Welcome here, there's a lot of useful info.
If you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

Hi, Pam. I'm not a child either, but I'm in Chattanooga and wanted to say, "Hello!"

I'm sorry you had to find CC, but glad you are here.

the Tennessee Sled Hockey Association has a team in Knoxville. I cant find any info on it and any distinction on if it is a junior team or not, but look into wheelchair sports if thats something that your son is at all interested in. its a great way to meet people and stay in shape.
