    Follow your dream, never stop!

To the North Pole in winter
No one has dared head for the North Pole on skis in the dark of winter – until now. On 15 January, Børge Ousland and Mike Horn will leave Cape Artichesky, the northernmost point of Russia.

On 23 March, two men are standing on the North Pole. Børge Ousland and Mike Horn have reached at journey’s end, successfully completing an expedition that none have taken before. Behind the two intrepid explorers are a thousand kilometres of icy wilderness – which they have skied, swam and crawled in darkness.
Børge Ousland and Mike Horn just reached the Noth Pole, on foot, wintertime???

Here is more from his website for those of you who find it interesting. There are also some photos and videos etc. here.

It’s also kind of funny these days; you can follow them day by day by the technology (the blog updates by satellite phone). One other amazing thing about Ousland is that many of his expeditions he does just by himself, alone. Some of his books are also worth reading. Wonder what his next expedition will be – alone to the moon maybe (seems like there is no limits)?
