Thread: Any High-Level Quads?

    Question Any High-Level Quads?

Hey all. First post, although I've known about the forum for a long time.
I'm a C-4 level SCI guy. First diagnosed as "complete", my skin sensation fades out around mid chest/shoulder, and I've got muscle control down to rhomboids. I can barely affect a bicep twitch.
However, after a year or two, I began to get back muscle sensation almost everywhere.

Anyone know how common this is?

I am also a C4 complete quadriplegic of four years. I can make my right arm bicep twitch. Was able to do that since 2002 but never really built on that. Other than that I cannot do anything and do not expect anything.

Thanks for responding, all. Pleased to "meet" you.
kkmay - why not try to build on it? I either couldn't do it or at least didn't know it until 4yrs after. (It's been 6yrs now) mr coffee has the right idea. The muscle sensation first came back in my thighs after passive biking on the MotoMed. I also get a lot of massage. "Stim" doesn't have to be electrical.

I just leased a Neuromove this week. If anything interesting happens with this, I'll post it here.

In the meantime, I'd still like to hear from some experts. Dr. Wise? Have you run into this particular condition before?
