    Bunn Bunn Muscles

Ok. I really didn't want to post but I just need to ask. Although I am seeing my SCI specialist next week, I feel compelled to instead ask the CC. I am a complete almost 5 months post and I really believe I am an incomplete. As the months progressed I was able to feel more and more the insides of my stomach. This past week the deep sensation has went all the way down to my bottom muscles. Like ( and uh I hate to say this) but sometimes I feel that feeling like right before you go # 2 when your AB. (that knotty feelin in your stomach on the bottom) The feeling is coming from my bottom on the backside. Is this normal or is this recovery?

I don't know for sure, but it sounds like recovery to me. Your injury is still so new. Wishing you many happy recoveries!

What is you level of injury?
Any feeling in your buttock, hips, leg?
Your injury is still new and positive changes can still occur.

Many people do feel pressure in the central area (insides) of the body but are still considered complete.
However, the ASIA scale and terms of incomplete, complete and zone of partial preservation have specific definitions and specifically related to the motor and sensory components of the spinal cord level of the injury.
There is an in-depth description of the ASIA scale and these terms on the site.
