From BWI airport, take the free shuttle to Amtrak. Amtrak and MARC depart hourly on weekdays to Union Station/DC.

If you can transfer in and out of your chair, I know a taxi driver who will pick you up by appointment. SHe is very dependable, and takes credit cards. She works out of BWI region.

    Must Register for W2W Symposium

Reminder: Anyone planning on attending the Working 2 Walk Symposium on Sunday, April 30th and/or Monday, May 1st must register:

The symposium offers an incredible opportunity to meet leading scientists and others in the field of spinal cord injury research. We will meet them, hear them and let them know who we are face to face. We will find out in person what's needed from us to help support their efforts. We will share with them first hand our sense of urgency.

    Symposium tentative schedule:

    Registration fee is $100/person.

Registration fees help defray the cost of venue, catered lunch, printed materials, etc.

There are ten (10) $100 grants available to cover registration fees; five (5) donated by Josh Basile and his Detrmined2Heal Foundation. Thank you, Josh.

Please apply for a grant here:

    Thanks Scott,

I'll post this on the W2W site (after rotating ).

Organizers are staying at the Radisson as well as a few others we've heard of. Also some at the Hampton.

I would've rotated it but the attachment restrictions here wouldn't permit anything wider than 800px. I'm switching my personal web accounts around & didn't want to link it directly if they go down for a bit.

    Thanks for the reply.
