So can the hardware on Macs work on Linux/Windows? FOr isntance, is it going to ever be possible for me to dual book Windows/MacOS or MacOS/Linux? or hell if i want to get another sata, tri boot? What i'm asking is, is Mac Trying to move towards integrating with regualr hardware as well? Or what is keeping me from Dual booting Mac OS right now if its using an intel chipset?
Right now I install LILO to my linux harddrive so I set it as higher priority to boot and i can choose windows or linux to boot into. It would be nice to see MAC OS as an option for shits and giggles

Windows XP will not work with the Intel Macs because it does not support the new EFI BIOS that Apple is using. It is my understanding that Windows Vista will run on the new Intel Macs.

I also like the Dell 24 inch wide screen LCD. Once in a while you can find it on Fatwallet with the PC that has the dual core processors along with a two-year service warranty for a little over $900.

From the link metronyguy posted, i was curious and this is the case:
Article is missing one point... To play games on this beaut with all the video candy one is going to need an nVidia SLI system!!
Mid December I bought myself a BFG 6600 GT OC as a Xmas gift. My wife bought me a 2005FPW for Xmas... I always wonder why Xtech reviewed video cards up to and past 1600x1080. Now I know, the 6600 is a tad slow for this display!!
    Michael.

If you don't have a bad ass video card, it may look quite whorish, i've seen it on other systems. THey get this huge LCD and it looks like hell because they don't have a nice gpu. I don't know if this guy is right though, getting dual GPU's is insane, and pricey unless u got the money to blow do it!

if you follow pn link the 24 inch monitor and dual core dimension was on sale in Nov for about 1200!
    Dell Dim 9100 2.8GHz/800FSB/DualCore, 2x160GB, 1GB mem, 2405FPW = $1191 (EPP)
they had a dimension 9100 and 24 inch for 838!
    i would pay 38 dollars extra for a 9100
i dont play games on the computer, so i dont think i would suffer
