    Para Riding Dirtbike

This has to be the coolest thing ever. Check out the link. Para's riding motocross the very sport that put them in a chair. Motocross hero David Bailey was injured in 1987 and hasn't riden a bike in nearly 20 years. But check him out now. Ricky James was injured not even a year yet and he's back on the same bike.

    Then click video: David Bailey

Make sure you click video: Ricky James
there's a good shot of the bike to show the workmanship.

Thanks for posting! My husband has modified bikes, quads, snowcats, etc for people who are paralyzed or missing limbs. He was telling me the other day about an ATV that he modified for a guy with one arm.

That is so damn cool to see. Is there any telephone numbers that you can call for info. I thought that was so cool and he has a great attitude. I think a lot of people look at stem cells as a cure but doing the thing you love is a big mental cure. I love finding time to play my guitar or working out just as life goes on I had to make adjustments. I love to watch adaptive sports and how they modify sports equipment.

A friend of mine told me about this guy a few months back and how he was racing four wheelers after he got hurt. Now he is getting back on a two wheeled machine. This is his website http://www.rickyjames824.com . It doesnt look like it has been updated in a while.

My friend loves this guy...probably because of all the similarities between him and Ricky James. First...they both have done motor cross (my friend's injury was sustained in an accident he was in while riding)...second...they both have the same number (824) and third...they are both paras. This gave him a lot of hope to someday return to the sport he lives and dies for.
