    Suggestion: Panic Button

    Hey Jeff,

Would there be any way that pressing the (Online indicator) or better yet an additional button on the side, could generate an invitation to the A/V Webchat allowing then the start of a session with somebody that in a fresh post (i.e. last 5 mins.) describes feeling very bad, for whatever reason? It would beat writing posts as fast as one possibly could.
Provision would have to be made of course to respect the Ignore List.
Also, I don't know what the implications would be for those that don't use the keyboard.

Anyway, just my .02 to start a dialogue on cons and pros of something like this.

    Cheers!

Rather than edit the previous post I will add FlashChat which I ommited as an alternative to A/V Webchat.

It would be interesting to know if this measure is technically feasible to also be able to capture the contents for subsequent posting as suggested

We prefer that if you really feel you must ask a private question (instead of posting on the forum) that you post questions for SCI-Nurse on the Private Message function of this site. Whichever SCI-Nurse is on duty will answer your questions there.

We also have an e-mail address listed (which changed today), but this does not get checked as often as this site.

We do encourage you though to post questions directly on the forum so that others can learn from your questions, so that others who may have a suggestion can help you, and so that we can share the answers.

    Thank you,
    KLD
