Talking Texas Motor Speedway, here I come

Heading for Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. I'm stoked. Diehard NASCAR fan, just never been to a race yet.

Got tickets for both Busch & Nextel, I ordered them back in July and wound up at turns 2(Busch) & 4(Nextel). For handicap seating you call the main office(found this out by emailing them). You are allowed 2 "Companion Tickets" for each h/c seat. Taking 2 friends(1 diehard) on sat, and my wife and "diehard" friend on sunday. The h/c row is between the upper and lower sections of grandstands, should be good seating. Ticket seller said you can see the whole track from there.

Friends are psyched about h/c parking too. Man, traffic will be bad, track holds 250k people.

I will post some pics after the weekend. Go #6

How am I supposed to go too if you did not get a ticket for me?

Let's see, I'm ready to go. I've got all my gear:

Dale, Jr. shirt and cap, Dale, Sr. #3 flag, Michael Waltrip jacket and "I hate Jeff Gordon!" BANNER!

I'm sure the missing ticket was unintended.

    Well heck, have fun anyway!

McD, I can vouch for the traffic at TMS, went in 00 and 01, resembled a hurricane evac. Five miles in 3.5 hrs.

I've been going to Kansas since it opened in 01. After the sci in 02, I went and checked out the W/C seating, all were exellent seats but sold out that yr. Over 200 I think.

So, in 03, I came up with the best spot in the house!

WM - I KNEW I was forgetting somebody. Could you be a bigger DEI buff?

Digger - Excellent shots dude. Yeah, not looking forward to traffic but what the hell, gotta pay for fun somehow. I like your "spot", can't get much better than that. Me and the wife had always planned on getting a mtorhome and doing some races around the country, sci put a halt to that. At least for now.

Jayday - Kasey's a good up and coming driver, lots of good stuff in store for him. Easy going too, I like that. Part of why I like MM so much.

Duge - I like Tony, now that he's toned down his assholiness. Helluva driver.

Man, been tossing & turnin since 5:30am, is it RACE time yet?
