    Walkers-ever tried tai chi?

I gave it a shot today. Those who know me, go ahead and laugh. I can't balance on 2 legs so trying for 1 is funny stuff. Even if I can't actually do it, though, I think the effort might pay off balance and strength-wise.

I tell ya what, my hip that always hurts-the weak one-isn't hurting! And I just woke up!

That alone is good enough for me.

I looked at the excercises and some of the one leg exercises are alot like some exercises my therapist makes me try to do. If you keep it up Betheny your hips should get stronger and more stable.

There is a whole running technique based on tai chi called chi running. He is working on a new book about chi walking. I'm thinking that this would be good for those of us re-learning to walk, but haven't gotten a lot of feedback from them so far. I did get the chi running book and have tried some of the ideas when I'm walking and it does work. Here's the link to their website. [URL=http://www.chirunning.com/resources/chiwalking.php]
