A paralysed man was among two people who were shot dead in separate incidents in Kingston Monday night.

The paralysed man, 26 year-old Omar Henry, also known as 'Stephen', was found slumped over his wheelchair by a family member at about 9.30 yesterday morning at 17 Lane, located off the Waltham Park Road.

Henry's body had a gunshot wound to the right side of the neck and there were signs that he was robbed as his pockets were turned out and his cellular telephone was missing. An earpiece for the telephone was seen dangling from his left ear.

"From how it look at this point it could be robbery," a detective on the crime scene was overheard saying.

I was robbed once. I am a quad and the guy stuck his gun to my head. I gave him my money. He was never caught. It can happen to anyone. Desperate people do desperate things.
