    Hey, ya all,
    Thanks for your efforts
I am just very depressed, so very tired of the pain, & the pills
This pain is very different than I've heard anyone explain. I am simple minded I guess but Dr. Young, I feel if surgery did this to me can't surgery undo this?? its not like a disease we need to stop & want to know if my doctors statement of....
" no nothing is wrong with you its just swelling"I said the nurses dropped me yesterday, could something from this drop be why & can it be fixed if so ? his quote was "OH NO nothing happened from the drop & you'll be fine its just swelling"!!
so I know he lied But I don't know what for sure happened, or why every specialist I've been to said had the surgeon just went right back in, well I understand the hospital did not communicate to the surgeon what they did to me, he found out the next morning 19 hours later, but the doctors have all stated had he done a new surgery that day, the next day , next week but even that month but to wait 12 months to let me know the truth, its to late to reverse anything now.
yes I have very wonderful; attorney's whom have their specialist who all have their startling thoughts.
I just would like someone's thoughts on what honestly happened
I have only had 1 operation only 1 on my spine
I ran Olympic laps previous to my surgery & only had 1 pinched nerve, I was to get 2 cages places in my spine I recently found out I have 3 cages in my pine 2 at L3-L4, 1 placed at L4-L5, 2 placed at S1. what I understand is there is always to be 2 titanium Bak cages at every level side by side, not to have more than 2 in a back & not consecutive I have 3 levels place consecutively in my spine & the cage place in the middle only has 1 at this level which weakened the above & below cage level.
what is the FDA's position ? does the FDA mean "we suggest this but go ahead & do as you please??
I dun't know because I'm ignorant I just would welcome someone's educated thoughts & mostly uninvolved ya know??
in addition to this I feel we are all at this site because of the honest opinions & to be educated I don't need any legal assistance,Thank God, I need a educated brain on my loss, so I can make decisions knowing the truth & being educated

I thought I would receive this here.

Debbi's, I read the report and your previous postings. As I have indicated previously, I don't know what to suggest. There are multiple reasons for pain but you also have had multiple surgeries that aggravated the situation. I am not sure that further surgery would help.

Sorry, Debbi. I don't know what to suggest because it is such a complicated situation. You need to find an experienced and good surgeon who will be willing to take on the case and spend a lot of time to see if there are any surgical corrections that may help. Often surgery cannot correct the problem of pain. I know many people who have serious pain that led to repeated surgical procedures that have only aggravated the pain. Wise.

I am t9,10,11,L1L2 I had 30 degree scolioses be accident. They put herring rods up to t7 all the way down. Now I feel the rods all the way down and I am having very few good days. The rods are causing so much pain. Every time I move it sends surging pain all over my body.I wish they were out. I think. It hurts to twist, bend and even raise my shoulders. I am only on medicaire and I don't think a DR. will touch me because of this. I'm a real active person but my life is so bad now because of this. I think it is rare to have 30 degrees plus being a para.

maryonwheels, it really sounds as if you need to have your rods revised. There must be a surgeon who would be willing to take your case. Wise.

DR. Wise, when you say revised, do mean replaced or adjusted by an ortho-surgion.Also, could you tell me what to expect. thanks

maryonwheels: I am sorry it took me so long to get to this answer. It is hard to say what you can expect until you have had an evaluation by your surgeon. It is rather common for spinal surgeries to require some form of revision but impossible to predict the extent of the work that is required. The best bet is to consult your doctor about your pain, and see what is suggested then. Be sure to report all aspects of your pain, when and where and how it hurts and if anything you have done on your own brings any relief. Good Luck,

    Mary
