    Powder Bleach

A simple question for the nurse. When traveling can the dry powder bleach be used for cleaning urine bags?

I'm not the nurse, but I would think you'd have to be really careful that the bleach all got dissolved, so as not to leave a residue.

A powdered product would be easier to transport than liquid of course. If you take an empty container in which to mix it, and make sure it is fully dissolved before using it, it may work. Unless you are using it to eliminate big time odors, is it necessary to use bleach when you travel? Would a good hot soap and water work? A small bottle of dish detergent would be much easier to cope with than bleach. (EMK)
