electrical stimulation in spinal cord injuries

    Dr. Young,

Last year my boyfriend asked you about the use of elctrical stimulation in SCI.
We've been using electrical stimulation for a couple of months now and so far we reached the following effects:
a decrease in muscle tonus (upper and lower limb), better capillarisation in the lower limbs (wound that heales better due to this).
increase of strength in the active muscles (upper limb), less spasm and pain in the active muscles of the upper limb.
We haven't been using this stimulation long enough to conclude that there is a reverse in atrofy.
    Yours sincerely

Pinky, thanks for the update. Sounds good. Wise.
