    climbing stairs in a wheelchair

    Iv'e heard of people climbing stairs in thier wheelchairs. Some people say it just takes alot of strenght but others climb with one crutch etc. does anyone know a easy efficient technique and process for climbing stairs?

    Is there an reason you have to climb the stairs in your wheelchair?
    I have been both in the chair and on crutches. Neither is really suited for stair
    climbing, but is quite workable on crutches.
    Not easy by any means, but doable.
    In the chair...this is very dangerous.
    If you are attempting to impress AB's (girls)
    might think about wheelchair basketball, volleyball on the beach, or something where
    your chances of ending upside down would be
    minimized. Now that would not be too COOL
    would it?
    Climbing stairs is even difficult for AB's
    sometimes. You wouldn't want to tip over on
    top of a real cutie that might never speak
    to you because of it..would you?
