    hi all,

im not new, just a lurker

ive seen a number people in a wheelchair with a handicap or severe medical disability asking for voice activated phones

lots different kinds of activation and price ranges from $100 to $500

be careful of other types of voice activated telephones because many require
you to hit a button before you can use voice.

this girl i know is selling her 2 voice phones, AMERIPHONE RC100 [ RC 100 ] and her AMERIPHONE RC200 [ RC 200 ]voice activated speakerphone phones for, i think, $125 and $175 because she dont need anymore. if anyones interested
i can give you her email.

heres links to some i found, hope it helps some people.........

    enjoy.......

Before purchasing an expensive phone, contact your local phone company to see if they offer a disability access program. In my state, there is no extra charge for a voice activated phone that might cost you $800 if you meet the criteria. This is required by state law and is supported by a small excise fee on everyone's phone bill.

We do have one thru the phone company and it is great. At this point, we would like another for a different location. The state only offers one which is fine. That is why we are searching for another. Thanks for the input.
