    "shocks" when liftedinto or out of bed

    when we lift our son out of eb somtimes he feels shocks all over his body. Is this normal?

    How are you lifting him? If you put a lot of tension on his next in flexion you may be eliciting a Lhermitte's sign (shooting electric shock from the head along the spine to the tailbone). Some feel this is a symptom of cord tethering.
