    Supplements

I have a friend whose son had a spinal cord injury. He uses glutamine, protein and a prohormone (1-AD) to increase muscle mass and strength. Is these harmful things for a SCI patient to use? Does anyone have any experience with these supplements?

    Thanks

yeah, I use all kinds of stuff; glutamine, creatine, ribose, amino acids, pro-hormones, many diffrent kinds of protien. nothing has hurt me although sometimes a new product will irritate my bladder on occasion and make me have accidents but your bladder seems to adjust and symptoms reside. you just need to cath more often to prevent the accidents. I have gotton good results with the suppliments i take.

    ciao,

    scott
