    Is your job tough?

    I've been out since last week and when I get back none of my work was done. what's up with that?

    Yeah, it is really tough to believe they actually pay me for what I do (very little). But that isnt the real world, it is the Bell System

    I thought I saw on an American news channel that SBC was going to cut 10,000 jobs?

    Yep, that is the story. Considering 1200 per month leave the company due to retirement, etc., there will not be so much of an impact on those already there. Also, most of those 10K head count reduction are in the management ranks (non-union), so the area I am in will not be affected.

    I was going to apply to Jeff Weeks ad Chris but Shauns application was easier plus the light bulb business is booming lol -
