    One of the problems of US jobs being exported.

    Supposedly only something like 10% of containerized shipping is even checked. Medical waste metals were used as part of the production process. Scary stuff when you think about the things that are probably going undetected.

    If you search for made in America, you will find results like: http://www.madeintheusastore.com/

    It's not a complete answer, but it's nice to know if you have a US alternative to what your local big box is carrying.

    I have a couple of relatives who travel to Asia for their companies. Their stories of the lack of quality control and the corner cutting to save money are spooky.

    Thanks for the link Tom. I am a big believer that if we all made an effort to keep jobs here it would help enormously.
