    Hi Tman. I work at a "Superfund" site (as you may know it) in the Directors Office for The Dept of Energy. We are in the year long process finally announcing a $90 Mil a year contract. taking masters classes. edit.

    College laborer, er... student

    It doesn't pay, but I love it.

    A magnet [advanced] middle school is opening next school year right down the road from me, and I will be tutoring kids in math and science.

    Thanks for the input. SCI are very expensive and was just wondering how people earn their living. My new house will be 25k more than a walking mans.

    In Retirement

    For 25 years I was a lobbyist for the U.S. auto manufacturers. I retired 10 years ago at age 55. I did some free lance public relations for a not-for-profit organization. After the motorcycle crash I did not return to free lancing. I now volunteer two days a week for our small town's downtown development association. I am one year post this month.

    I am a Computer Specialist for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. I write applications in Visual Basic and ASP mostly. I am also the district database administrator. Been here for 18 years.
