Stay BC Travel Card - don't travel in British Columbia without it!
VANCOUVER, May 8 /PRNewswire/ - The BC and Yukon Hotels' Foundation (BCYHF) has launched the second year of the Stay BC Travel Program, an initiative created to raise funds for the BC Paraplegic Association (BCPA).

"By offering the Stay BC card the BCYHF provides a benefit to the consumer and the BCPA. All the while stimulating the tourism industry in BC and the Yukon - it's a great combination!" said BCYH Foundation Chair Gerry Barteluk.

The Stay BC card provides special room rates at over 200 hotels throughout BC and Yukon, is a $10 long distance calling card, 10% off at participating Denny's restaurants, 20% off at Park 'n Fly as well cardholders who purchase Molson Indy Tickets receive free paddock passes.

Welcoming back inaugural supporters Superpages and Denny's; year two also brings several new partners to the program - Chevron, CKNW, Molson Indy, Park 'n Fly, Tourism British Columbia and Whistler Northwind.

The Stay BC Travel Cards are $24.99 per card. Cards are available for purchase at participating Chevron stations in British Columbia, hotels and online at www.staybc.net. Mail order forms are available at participating Tourism BC Information kiosks, hotels and Chevron stations.

Being able to buy online opens up the opportunity for residents of the United States to purchase a card prior to their vacation in British Columbia or the Yukon.

Net proceeds from the sale of the cards benefit the BCPA and thus helping persons with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities achieve independence, self-reliance and full community participation.
