    So sorry...

Cappy, so sorry to hear this news. No matter how well prepared you think you are when you know that a close family member is dying, even when expected it is still a blow when it happens. I think this is esp. true for your parents, partly as it makes you that much more aware that you are now an adult and are part of the "next generation to go"...at least that has been my experience.

Perhaps it would help to share with the forum some good memories of your mom....

    Sorry for your loss Cappy.

I lost my father to cancer less then a year ago, so i know how you're feeling. We like to think our parents will live forever, but alas they don't. That's why you have to cherish them for each day they live.

If you want to talk, just e-mail me.

Losing a mother must be one of the hardest things in life to deal with but, in time, it will get better. My thoughts and prayers go out to you Cappy.

    losing Mom

Cappy, So sorry to hear about your loss. Losing my mother close to 20 years ago, is to this day, still the hardest thing I have ever endured. I look forward to being in her arms when I get to the promised land. No words can express the loss, so I'll just say "hang in there". KAK

    Our condolences

for the loss of your mother. As you said, now she no longer suffers. Take that to heart as you grieve.

    "And so it begins."
