NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee Titans cornerback Samari Rolle, sidelined by a spinal cord injury, was cleared Thursday to resume running and lifting weights.

Rolle bruised his spinal cord Oct. 7 against Baltimore. He has a smaller spinal canal than the average person, and it was the second such incident of his career.

He met with a neurologist Thursday morning for a set of tests, and coach Jeff Fisher said the report was positive.

``He's not been cleared to play this week or next week at this point,'' Fisher said. ``There's a chance for next week, but he has not been cleared yet for next week.''
