PVA Offers Disaster Relief to Help Those Affected by Terrorist

WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The Paralyzed Veterans
of America (PVA) is offering disaster relief funds to its members
and other veterans with severe disabilities whose lives were
disrupted by the terrorist attacks September 11 on the World Trade
Center in New York and the Pentagon outside of Washington, D.C.
Veterans can apply for financial assistance through PVA
headquarters in Washington, D.C., the Delaware-Maryland Paralyzed
Veterans Association in Christiana, Del., the Eastern Paralyzed
Veterans Association in Jackson Heights, N.Y., and the
Virginia-Mid-Atlantic Chapter of PVA in Richmond, Va.

Assistance may be used for transportation, temporary shelter,
food, medical supplies and prosthetic appliances. Veterans who
qualify may be eligible for up to $2,500 per family. Priority is
given to PVA members.

these despicable attacks," said Joseph L. Fox, Sr., PVA national
president. "PVA wants to channel our sorrow and anger into helping
veterans with disabilities who were affected by these attacks get
their lives back on track as soon as possible."
