Mayo Clinic Dr Mohamad Bydon; Chris Barr patient #1 successful stage 1 clinical study

Ok saw ?BIG NEWS? brief clip on GMA narrated by Christopher Reeve?s son (replayed on FB:
Chris Barr, paralyzed (no details except ?neck down?) from SCI 3 yrs ago.
    Patient receives stem cells.
    Patient now walking.
Of course treating doctor References many caveats as with most breakthrough discoveries .......Blah blah that nobody listens to.
Of course Both live and viewing audiences must now believe the average wheelchaired/Spinal injured Person will be up and fully recovered in Short order.
i?m sure most of The more plugged-in members here already saw This news so I?m not asking whether if it?s a trick, i?m asking why is it a trick ( OK maybe not trick but not the full truth) don?t we have enough shit to face in life without misleading Information like this being put out there?

There's been a lot written on here about this particular case by myself and others.

This person was incomplete and walking before stem cells.
I believe asia-c. So the idea that he plateaued after 6 months is silly.

That being said, the results they did publish for this particular person are impressive. So who knows what that means for incomplete injuries in the near and long-term?

We will have to wait and see if they ever release the data for the other people in the study who were supposedly complete.

So again I ask why the hype and misinformation ? Everybody watching is going to assume we we’re going to get on our feet soon (i know they didn’t That’s what people think )

If I can find my link to the actual study results itself, I will post it. There is no doubt the person improved after the procedure. Significantly. However, they were not completely upfront about the condition he was in before the study.

As to your other question about why. Your guess is as good as mine I would like to believe the Mayo Clinic along with Christopher Reeves family are always on the up-and-up...
But MONEY and FUNDRAISING trumps all

Here you go. Full of every detail you can want for this particular subject.

BTW, thank Grammy who originally provided this to me when I asked your exact questions.
