    wheelchair vs. bicycle tire tubes

Is there any difference between a wheelchair tire tube and a bicycle tire tube?

The only difference is size. Make sure you get a tube that is the correct size for your wheel and tire. In general, wheelchair wheels are not the same size as bicycle wheels, and your bike shop may have to special-order your tubes.

yeah an inner tube is just a tube... you get what you pay for, there are better quality ones $$, presta or schrader valve etc. the better quality ones tend to be a little heavier as the rubber is thicker, hold the air better etc.

Just get the correct size... all the wheelchair size wheels are bicycle wheel sizes, if you're using regular non-marking wheelchair tires you'll be one of these sizes.
