If I had paste should I use it and then scrape it off again in a half hour? It goes on for days.
You can apply the nitropaste, which takes about 10 minutes to kick in, then remove it anytime your symptoms improved and your blood pressure drops. You can re-apply it again pretty much any time.

Went and saw a neurologist today who cannot give me narcotics, but told me he would call the palliative care doctor from St. Francis whose care am under and explain the danger of the situation.

He also would not give me the Nitropaste for AD management because of my low blood pressure.

Now in between spinal cord specialists who tell me one thing and the doctors I can access, tell me another thing. The exact same thing happened at Sea Pines Rehabilitation Hospital. When I got discharged couldn't get the narcotics filled.

St. Francis is coming tomorrow so will see what happened to set up round two. This is why I made the point of " I'm tired." Tired of fighting to live a life I do not want to live.

Is not so much that I quit, is that I give up. Everybody who knows me and understands the situation says that if I go into a nursing home, I'll be dead within a year.

The mobile physicians group that sees me, has denied me narcotics, the PA saying "cannot help you, my hands are tied" for several months.

PA came on Friday and gave her a verbal abstract of autonomic dysreflexia as she was going through her normal routine. She takes my blood pressure and it was 120/60, perfect. Then told her "Stop" and I moved my butt in the bed maybe 2" and took the blood pressure again, it was 170/110. Asked her if she wanted to take the blood pressure after I made a complete turn, which must be done throughout the night and day to avoid pressure sores and see adamantly said, "no".

Then pulled up this webpage explained to her that this site contained, State-of-the-art information for spinal cord information and she read KLD's post about stroke, heart damage, or both, and get a lawyer.

Then she gave me a jar of narcotics. Cannot go back to the level as before right away, need to build up tolerance so will be able to use the patch again.

Now we shall see what happens next month.
