    Post stage 4 pressure sore

I am being treated for a stage 4 sore on my sitting bones, we pack it twice a day and wound care nurse sees it once a week. In one month the depth has changed from 3.8 cm to 2.5, my question is is that good progress or should it be healing faster? Today it seems wetter than it has been, is increased drainage a bad sign? I am c6,7 30 yrs post and this is myy first stage 4

That is great progress. Healing can be very slow. It must heal from the deepest part up to surface. CWO
