    What's does your AVITAR mean?

I sometimes wonder why members choose the avatar they do.
Me? My helper monkey was the most endearing to me since this whole sci thing, the only primate that understood me and listened to my bitching.... being leashed to my chair she couldn't do much else.
No matter what she'd curl up under my chin every time I did a weight recline.
You other guys, do the aviator hold meaning...or just a filler?

The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.

Mine is a tattoo I want to get

Just noticed it isn't showing on my post - is there a switch I have to turn on to have it show?

Never mind - I see I need to add an avatar - have a photo not an avatar - will have to resize tomorrow...

Mine is the Leprechaun I designed and had airbrushed on the rear fender of my last motorcycle. I also got him tattooed on my inner right forearm.

I have always been a creator/inventor/artist and my hands were strong and adept with fine details. I relied on them for almost everything I did and I took them for granted. Now after years of unuse they are curled up and contracted and ugly from where I bite at my nails when I am tense. They once were miraculous "God given" tools and now they are about as useful as, well... the rest of my extremities. I stare at them with contempt at times, but I digress... what time is it?

PFCS The abreviation of my 45 year repair shop, Phils Foreign Car Service, and 49 the number of all my race cars.
Two things I really miss sometimes, although I did build and race a hand controlled 5spd 88 Golf GTI very successfully for three years!

And, just like people, everything is corruptible. Vanity, vanity, all is vanity!

Postscript: Just reread a few of above; geez! Depressing? I can get into that mode until I realize my mistake and remind my self: live your life out of abundance!
Might as well enjoy my time here
