    Ingrown toe not healing...

Ok...we are at 2 months, I've tried different socks, soes, etc but this little scab (see attached picture) won't go away.

    Thoughts/suggestions?

I would be curious to see what is happening underneath that scab. Have you seen a wound care specialst about it? Feet and toes are tricky to heal due to circulation eing decrease to those areas.
I hesitate to tell you any treatments because I can not see what is going on under the scab. And I do not think you should remove it. I would suggest seeing a WOCN nurse/clinic and letting them work with you.

The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.
