I am really not sure what you are asking for. Are you asking how do you prop your feet up when you are laying on your back?

The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.

Myself and several others I know of sleep on our backs on memory foam. The foam does a good job of spreading weight around. That said, I don't weigh much.

There are large foam wedge pillows that you can get to support your legs if you decide to sleep on your back, vjls...helps to take the pressure off the lower body. Combined with a memory foam or low air-loss mattress, that might be a solution.

The memory foam might make it more difficult to move but you could try it. We don't generally recommend it for pressure relief but if you are using it for comfort, it might help. I would try some positioning wedges that might help to float the hip and keep the pressure off of that area. You can try pillows, but they do not hold with any regularity nor do they guarantee that you can float an area.
