I sincerely hope your sharing the final nightmare days helps with your grieving. Losses of such long term loved ones cut to the core of one's heart. Please take good care of yourself and keep coming back.
I have had periodic paralysis all my life. I lost my ability to walk in 2011 beginning with a spinal block, which was used for a hip fracture caused by periodic paralysis.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Both of you have been so helpful as we navigate our journey. GJ was always so thorough with his contributions to Care Cure and all of that knowledge is completely searchable to all comers.

Thank you for sharing an intimate account of your experience. This happened so quickly and we are reminded how fragile all of us are. My thoughts are with you NL.

R.I.P. GJ, you will be missed.

Thank you NL, for both the heartbreaking writeup, and for your loving support of him for many years, it's a tough journey.
