I have not read it yet, and my search on the PBS website came up empty; do you know which show she was on? PBS or NPR?

I did find reference to a short interview with her on WBAI (NYC) but it is not available on-line except by downloading the MP3 file for the entire show for 8/1/19 (The Joy of Resistance) here: https://www.wbai.org/archive/program/episode/?id=5193

Here is the book at Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Such-Pretty-G...s%2C212&sr=8-1

    Here is her website: http://www.disabilityculture.org/

and here is her writing website: http://www.nadinalaspina.com/

The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.
