    Pressure problems inside

I have some discomfort, and then real pain upon palpitation, on the side of my right butt cheek, right near or a little behind and above my pelvis ? thigh joint (do you call that the lower hip?) I had a stage IV once, after ridiculous extraordinary circumstances, but I assume that coccyx sore was only skin. This is a little red maybe, but it hurts much more inside. What does that mean? Can I do damage without skin breakdown?

Yes. Early pressure sores are subsurface. I've only ever had a stage 1 and that was just a dark area on my heel with no top level skin damage. I'd stay off it!

I feel this is an area of past ulcer that healed or surgical flap it will always be a vulnerable area for potential ulcer development.
