    WARNING on OTC Omeprazole!!

My insurance recently stopped covering omeprazole because it is now available over the counter (OTC). So I looked around the internet and found a good deal on eBay, 120 capsules for only $13.99. Bought them and they arrived today. Kind of odd....everything on the bottles label was in Spanish. Return address was; Luis Torres, 2214 Austin Ave. Suite B, McAllen, TX 78501. I google mapped the address and I saw a gross barn/warehouse. Google also said it was the location of "Torres Feed and Pet Supplies". So naturally I just googled "Luis Torres, TX dog".

Well, I think this story and video is compelling enough for me to cancel my order, lol; https://valleycentral.com/news/local...narian#photo-1

Phar, TX is right next to McAllen, TX

Glad you got your money back.

If I was looking at the same ad as you, the sellers refusal to take PayPal would have been a "red-flag"

There's major generic pharmaceutical manufacturing in Mexico. McAllen, TX is connected to Mexico by a bridge.

That rusted, corrugated metal storage building is pretty typical in this hot, humid area, but, yeah, I would not want my meds stored there.

This is the omeprazole ad from eBay. The seller gave me my money back. He didn't even ask me to return the capsules. It's probably filled with horsefeed anyway, Lol

I have seen other sellers of omeprazole online and they are made in Mexico, Sri Lanka, India and Canada. I would like to find some cheaper omeprazole made in the USA but it is hard to find.

Get an Rx then use Goodscripts. $3 for 30 pills at 20 mg. Kroger pharmacy.
OTC is $13 for the same.
    T3 complete since Sept 2015.

Thanks Mize. But no Krogers in my area. I will check with other large chain stores (BJ's, Costco, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, etc.) Do you know where the drug is manufactured?

Get the GoodRx app or website and punch it in for your location. Kroger owns stores all over the US with different names. You'll have to check location of manufacture on site. If it's sold through a pharmacy with an Rx it will be FDA certified and audited.
    T3 complete since Sept 2015.
