I irrigate every morning and before i go to bed. Been doing that for over a decade. And there is times it still gets clogged.

What do you irrigate your catheter with? Saline by itself is probably not going to do much. Do you leave the fluid in your bladder? Have you changed the type of fluid that you are drinking?

I have been through that many times. I get home to clear the cath and it looks like it was cleared. But if you look closely its one of two things.
It could be a very small peace of sediment. Some of those sediments can be really sticky. And if it gets stuck at the whole its a problem. And you might not see it without really looking for it.
The second one is worse case. It could be a thick clear slime. And its hard to see. When i get this i usually need an antibiotic to clear the problem.
Do you have any finger movement? Because if you do you can get a bulb like syringe. I only have movement in my right hand with very weak grip. And i can use the bulb syringe.

I had a similar thing happen to me. No matter what I did, I would leak. If I tried to bend down to reach something on the floor, I'd leak. If I leaned from one side or the other, I would leak. After transferring from just about anywhere that required bending, I would leak. If I laid flat in bed, I would leak. Changing my sp tube did nothing and when I checked the tube after it was removed, there was nothing that indicated a blockage. Other times, when the catheter was removed, it looked like a mini volcano of urine that would gush out of the stoma. It was also difficult at times to insert or remove the catheter. It felt like it was stuck and frequently would not come out. Sometimes trying to insert it felt like something was in the way.

It was a horrible existence. I didn't want to go anywhere or do anything because of....the leaking. There seemed to be no answer in sight.

The reason for my problem was a fluke. I'm not even sure it is worth mentioning here because it is so strange. But we are both sci, and your profile indicates that you are female. So, if all else fails with the suggestions from the others above, I would like to give you a suggestion of my own to explore, based on my own experiences.

As it turned out for me, I had a rather large fibroid that was positioned right next to my bladder and pressing against it. Thus, the bending over etc., would essentially, crede the bladder from the inside, causing my "sp tube blockages." There was nothing wrong with my sp tube and there were no blockages.

So long story short, I surgically had the fibroids removed and it was as if the doctor had placed a magic wand over my abdomen, because all of the leaking stopped. I do have occasional blockages, here and there, but my freedom and my
Independace were given back to me that day.

So, my suggestion, as improbable as it might be, is to find out if you may have fibroids that are similarly placed.

    Good luck.
