This is foot pedal powered...if you are very incomplete, you might be able to do it, but would not work for most people with SCI/D.

Hi KLD Nah it's not - it's either or. Also while i'm here it also seems to not be Pedal assist or PAS (VERY ODD) So you either use it as a true bike or full on e-bike. At lest that's what the FAQ details say.

A: The quad is equipped 18T chainring and 11-42T sprockets The lowest gear ratio is 0.428 (18 : 42). So it
can create a very large torque. With the assist of electric motor, the quad goes up hills pretty easily.
Q: Does it come with both throttle and pedal assist?
A: It only comes with the throttle.
Q: How fast would the quad be able to go on flat pavement?
A: The max. speed with full throttle is 25 kph and the max. speed with pedal power is 15 kph.
    Q: Can I select between 2WD and 4WD?
Yes, our 4 wheel drive system allows the rider to manual shift from 2WD to 4WD.
Q: What accessories do you supply?
A: We supply charger, head lights and tail lights. They are free accessories.
    Q: What colors are available?
A: Our available colors are blue, red, green, white and black.
Q: I am 190 cm tall and weight 120 kg. Is the trike suitable for me?
A: Yes. Our trike is suitable for 165 to 200 cm height and the max. load is 150 kg.
Q: How is the quad shipped?
A: Usually the quad is shipped by sea. It comes 90% assembled. You only need to mount the seat and two
    rear wheels

Just finished watching a 4 part video i found on you tube of the full on ins and outs of the bike made by the guy who designed it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djviEq4F6oc
Scary amount of maintenance i would imagine... Seriously thinking about asking them if possible to make a version without any pedals for someone without legs that work!

Getting on and off any similar vehicle can be a real challenge for even many incomplete SCIs. Especially if you have an urgent need to empty your bladder, which jostling and vibration seems to provoke.
