Thread: security of site

    security of site

For the first time ever, when I go to type in my CC password there's a statement in red letters appearing where sci.rutgers.edu usually is: Site Not Secure.
Can anyone explain this? I'm questioning if it's my computer, but I've never seen this at any other sites.

I don't log in and out but at the beginning of the address bar it says "not secure"

This site needs a software update. When that happens we will go from HTTP to HTTPS. Until that (update/newer version) happens we will just have to live with it.

Is this an actual problem? Just don't post any sensitive info like bank or social security numbers and have a unique password.
