    What does 'pbr' mean?
C-5 incomplete , walking with crutches. In controlled pain. Respect to all SCI people.

There are actually 4 SCI-Nurses who serve as moderators and use that account. We each sign our posts with our initials.

    (KLD)
The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.

I?m so terribly sorry for those who find themselves in this position. I was heavily dependent on benzodiazepines, at my peak I was taking 4mg of Xanax a day (it works biochemically like alcohol), and withdrawal and recovery are very difficult demons to beat. I?m here for support if you need someone to talk to.
