    Universal Handle

Today I come across the Clip Grip on kickstarter and it looks like a great drinking solution for those with trouble gripping drinks/glasses/bottles. Price was reasonable to me and it looks like it will funtion better than other like handles I've bought, so I backed it. Go check it out.

The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.

1 Litre of beer in a glass with a handle is better. Here 0.5 Litre (pint) usually does not have a handle. In Western Australia, the nanny state they can't sell beer in a Litre glass. (I have to hold in my right hand as can't feel pressure in the left hand, also can't feel cold on the abdomen. Have an appointment in March with a neurologist who will no doubt order more MRIs.)

I received my Clip Grips today. I ordered several, to use and give away.

Me: C7 complete with some hand function. Finger extension half AB, and finger flexion very weak.

First Impressions: The soft handle is comfortable and depending on hand size, will fit three or four fingers. I could easily fit the Clip Grip to a cylindrical PET 1.5 liter vodka. It seemed quite secure. It was not large enough to fit around a square PET 1.5 liter gin (Gordons). It fit a glass 1.5 litter wine bottle fine, and also a standard wine bottle. I tried a 12oz long neck glass bottle but gave up before success. I could have eventually got it and I think it would work fine on that bottle but I was trying this at our outside refrigerator and it's over 100F today. I was able to fit it on a 12oz can. I don't have proof, but I assume it would work on non-alcoholic beverages as well.
