I don't know, I've not tried one. That said, I have a Sleep Number bed too. I haven't had trouble with it retaining air, but I am experiencing breakage of the plastic hinges between the wooden plates that support the raise/lower function the head and foot of the bed, particularly the head of the bed.
I think I have a solution for the problem, I just have to convince the lovely NL to play mechanic.
