Thread: Handcycle

Anyone ever shipped a handcycle? How much did it cost and who did you use?

Many bike shops will break down a bike and ship (they'll do this for bike races, etc.) for a fixed rate. They usually have the appropriate size boxes on hand and they might be able to get a better shipping rate. And if you're the buyer, you can ask them to check the bike over and send photos if they see any issues. I'd call around and ask. If you can find one that also deals in recumbent bikes, then they'll have some expertise with the appropriate breakdown.

Wow, that's a great idea!! I would have never thought about that. Thank you so much!

I have a good ship and pack place I generally use. It's generally around a couple hundred bucks depending on where in the USA it is going.
