Won't your wheel hub still stick out as far as the push rim does?

Thanks again for all the advice...I did remove the handrims on one set of wheels, which (thx KLD) I was able to check for free. We just kept both sets of wheels in my daughter's car trunk, and when we went somewhere, used my reg handrims tires and popped on the rimless tires when we got back home! Great visit...saw Okefenokee Swamp, St Augustine, Savannah, Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach (great wheelchair accessible beach access via MobiMat) and enjoyed the warm weather.
