"Tactical Control" !!! spinergy TC Stainless steel handrims

    But why steel?
(not being facetious, I really don't know, sounds heavy to me)

I like the concept a lot.
The TC photo is a bit too immaculate though. No tire wear after 2 years ?
Would need to know if the rims can develop rust spots after getting a knick, pit or scratch.

look closer I see wear on the tires. A set of tires would not last me two years but I use a attachment and handcycle a lot. I probably push less with push rims than most people. If I were not so cheap and they had something different than the tabbed rims I might would give them a try

    You're right.
We'll look forward to someone reviewing them. It would be nice to take off the Fit Grips.

My thoughts too, why steel? I checked into it, and was labeled a "weight freak" haha! As I understand it, they were supposed to be Ti.

speaking with a lot of long-time wheelchair users, especially paras using standard un-coated handrims for 20+ years, they all say that switching to contoured handrims of any type changed their lives. Gripping completely round handrims is painful long-term.
As well - people that have gone to a grippy handrim like the Natural-Fit tell me they no longer need to fully grip all the time, they can just push with their palms when on flat surfaces, thereby reducing the repetitive stress that led to arthritis/pain.

My point is if you are going to spend that kind of money why not switch up to something a bit more ergonomic?

The TC's are nice looking though.
