Invalid serial number on Dragon NaturallySpeaking

I have just installed DNS 13 on my laptop. The installation went through perfectly okay, however, when it came to activating the product it keeps telling me the serial number is the wrong one I know it's not. Silly thing is, I've activated it before, don't know why you keep having to do that, even if you are reinstalling the disc on another computer.

Some people say that you only have a certain amount of activations. I'm not getting any messages telling me I've run out of activations though.

I'm wondering if anybody else has had a similar problem and knows how to solve it?

This has happened to me a time or two with Windows activations years ago (about ten years ago). Back then, I just called and explained the situation to customer service and they gave me a new serial number. I bet you could do that with DNS, as well. (If you have access to email, you could also email them...back ten years ago, we couldn't access our email without installing Windows or having another computer up and running at the same time).

Actually, I did try to phone Nuance UK last night but then realised it was 5 o'clock which is why was N answering machine. I'll try again today and see what they have to say.

I find it rather irritating because I paid nearly ?100 for the software and being limited to a certain amount of installations is not fair.
